Terms of Service

1. Who may use the Service

Coach Sidekick is provided to youth sports academies and their coaches. Account holders must be adults. Children do not create their own accounts: a player is added by a coach, and a child under 13 may only have their information collected with verifiable parental consent, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an academy, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.

2. The Service

Coach Sidekick records and transcribes coaching sessions and uses AI to generate player feedback, development summaries, drill recommendations, and coach analytics. AI-generated output is assistive and is reviewed and approved by a coach before it reaches a player. It is a coaching aid, not professional, medical, psychological, or safety advice, and is not a substitute for a coach's or family's own judgment.

3. Your responsibilities

If you are a coach or academy, you are responsible for:

• Accurate rosters, including each player's correct date of birth, which the Service relies on to determine whether parental consent is required.
• Lawful recording. You must record only where you are permitted to, and notify and obtain the consent of those being recorded as required by law. Some places require the consent of all parties to a recording.
• Facilitating parental consent for players under 13, including providing accurate parent or guardian contact information, and not submitting a child's information for processing without the required consent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse or disrupt the Service, access data you are not authorized to access, upload unlawful content, record individuals where prohibited, or use the Service to harass, harm, or unlawfully profile any person, including any minor.

5. Content

Audio, rosters, and other content you submit remain owned by you or your academy as between you and us; you grant us the limited license needed to host, process, and analyze that content to provide the Service. The Service software, design, and our trademarks remain ours.

6. Disclaimers and changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during early access, and its AI-generated output may contain errors and must be reviewed by a qualified coach before reliance. The remaining terms, including limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution, are being finalized with counsel and will be published here; we will post the new effective date when they take effect.
