Terms of Service

1. Who may use the Service

Coach Sidekick is provided to youth sports academies and their coaches. Account holders must be adults. Children do not create their own accounts: a player is added by a coach, and a child under 13's audio is not transcribed, analyzed, or shared with our service providers until verifiable parental consent is recorded, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an academy, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.

2. The Service

Coach Sidekick records and transcribes coaching sessions and uses AI to generate player feedback, development summaries, drill recommendations, and coach analytics. AI-generated output is assistive and is reviewed and approved by a coach before it reaches a player. It is a coaching aid, not professional, medical, psychological, or safety advice, and is not a substitute for a coach's or family's own judgment.

3. Your responsibilities

If you are a coach or academy, you are responsible for:

• Accurate rosters, including each player's correct date of birth, which the Service relies on to determine whether parental consent is required.
• Lawful recording. You must record only where you are permitted to, and notify and obtain the consent of those being recorded as required by law. Some places require the consent of all parties to a recording.
• Facilitating parental consent for players under 13, including providing accurate parent or guardian contact information, and not submitting a child's information for processing without the required consent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse or disrupt the Service, access data you are not authorized to access, upload unlawful content, record individuals where prohibited, or use the Service to harass, harm, or unlawfully profile any person, including any minor.

5. Content

Audio, rosters, and other content you submit remain owned by you or your academy as between you and us; you grant us the limited license needed to host, process, and analyze that content to provide the Service. Content a coach submits on an academy's behalf, including recorded sessions and the feedback, assessments, and scouting notes derived from them, remains the academy's if that coach later deletes their account; we remove the coach's identity from it. The Service software, design, and our trademarks remain ours.

6. Trial and paid access

Your 10-day free trial starts when your workspace is activated, not when you submit an application. Record, review and release feedback with your coaches. No credit card is required, and recording a session does not restart the trial. We confirm your start and end dates during onboarding.

Club plans. To continue after the trial, a club admin chooses a plan: All-Access at $45 per rostered player per year (minimum $1,500), which includes the family plan for every player, or the Club plan at $600 per year for up to 5 teams plus $100 per extra team ($75 per team from the 26th). On the Club plan, extra teams cost $50 each from the next renewal once at least 20% of the club’s children are on the family plan. Optional add-ons: Director Suite ($100 per team per year, minimum $500) and Scouting ($500 per year, including 40 scouting recordings). Plans renew automatically each year until canceled and can be paid by card, bank account, or emailed invoice due within 30 days. A club admin can cancel at any time from the billing page; access continues until the end of the year already paid for. Teams and players added during the year, and add-ons, are charged for the rest of the year; reductions take effect at renewal. Subscribing while at least two days of a trial remain delays the first charge until the trial ends. Applying, or letting a trial expire, never results in a charge.

What counts as a team; fair use. A team is any team with players on its roster; a roster of more than 22 players counts as two teams. All-Access counts each child once, even on more than one team. Each team may record up to 3 sessions a week, and each recording is processed for up to 150 minutes.

See Pricing for current plans. These are the standard terms for new trials; any existing written agreement and already-confirmed trial end date continue to apply. We give at least 60 days’ written notice before changing the price of a plan you already have.

7. Disclaimers and changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during early access, and its AI-generated output may contain errors and must be reviewed by a qualified coach before reliance. The remaining terms, including limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution, are being finalized with counsel and will be published here; we will post the new effective date when they take effect.
